This wine is a blend of 85% Sangiovese and 15% Merlot from the excellent 2013 harvest. It shows typical notes of black cherries and plums with a slight dusty minerality. The palate is full and rich with trademark firm Sangiovese tannins, yet excellent balance between dark fruit and bright acidity. No obvious oak influence. Drink now to 2022.
