Falanghina is Campania’s third major indigenous white variety. It can be quite a chameleon and seems to prefer the cool coastal region of Sannio to fully bring out its’ delicate characters. Falanghina is primarily a mineral driven wine, with subtle aromatics and a salty, yet crisp mouthfeel. This vineyard is run organically and the grapes reflect the purity of the site beautifully. It is pale yellow, with ethereal aromas of oyster shells, lemons, pears and the ocean with medium weight palate and a crisp dry finish. This is the perfect wine to complement fresh seafood dishes, especially in raw preparations. Drink now to 3 years.
