The bouquet jumps out of the glass with passionfruit, gooseberry, fresh peaches and herbal lavender and nettle nuances. The palate is medium bodied and shows excellent texture with a flinty/mineral yet tropical mouthfeel. The flavour lasts long after with wine has gone. The winemaking shows excellent knowledge of the variety without falling into the trap of one dimensionality. This is Sauvignon at its best. 96 points.
