This is an extremely interesting autochthonous red varietal which gets its’ name (meaning “red feet”) from its’ red bunch stems, which are said to look like “red dove’s feet”. This delicate and rare grape is traditionally drunk early in life and has a character somewhere between Pinot Noir and Gamay. This wine has deep ruby colour with aromas of strawberries and raspberries, the palate is soft, delicate and enticing with intense red fruit, mineral complexity and a long crisp finish. Drink now to 3 years.
