This gold medal winning wine comes from some of the oldest plantings in the Gimblett Gravels. It is a very smart blend of 83% Merlot with the balance made up of Syrah, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. Highly coloured, it possesses aromas of black currants, blueberries and spicy oak. The palate is rich and full with good quality French oak support and a soft tannin finish. Cellar 0-10 years. 92 points.
