This exceptional wine comes from Puglia in Southern Italy. It is made predominately from the excellent “Nero di Troia” grape with lesser amounts of Montepulciano. This wine has had a chance to mature in bottle and it is a rare chance to be able to enjoy a beautifully cellared example such as this. The wine shows complex aromas of dusty oak, mineral nuances, with dates, figs, forest floor and dried herbs. The palate is full bodied with resolved tannins and a long ripe yet savoury finish.
