Alsace is one of the greatest regions for traditional (fermented in bottle) method sparkling wines in the world. This wine is a blend of 1/3 Chardonnay, 1/3 Pinot noir and 1/3 Pinot Blanc. It spent
2 years on lees in the bottle. The nose shows characters of baked apple pie, ginger and fresh lemons. The palate is crisp and dry, with a toasty complexity and a slight bitter almond finish. Very good. Try with fresh oysters on the half shell. Drink now to 2025.
