Greco (Bianco) is probably the most famous white variety to come out of Campania and is said to have been brought by the “Greeks”, hence its’ name (meaning “Greek”). The Tufo area is named after the volcanic “tuff/tufo” soils in which Greco finds such perfect home. Greco naturally has a rich mouthfeel and when combined with the “tufo” mineral soils, the results can be quite complex. This particular wine shows a medium yellow colour with pronounced stone fruit aromas of fresh nectarine and ripe peach, with hints of grapefruit. The palate is full bodied with low to medium acidity and a rich round mouthfeel. Drink now to 5 years.
