This wine comes from an old (up to 40 years) Trebbiano and Semillon vineyard grown organically/biodynamically on the Tuscan Coast. The wines were fermented in stainless steel and then aged on lees in large format French oak barrels for 4 months. The wine has aromas of honey, lemon, dried hay, and almonds. The palate is medium bodied with a crisp, almost saline texture and excellent length. Drink now to 2020.
