This wine comes from the โClassicโ 2013 vintage in Chianti Classico. The grapes were given lots of hang time, allowing for evolution of the firm structure inherent in the Sangiovese grape. This wine is medium bodied, with aromas of anise, olives, dusty roads, chocolate and sour cherries. The palate shows bright acidity, firm yet fine grained tannins and a typical, bitter olive finish. Drink now to 2023.
