Elias Mora, Toro, 2009 โ Toro (along with Ribera del Duero and Rioja) is one of the great Tempranillo producing regions in the world. The region is located in the North West of Spain in Castile and Leon. The wine is 100% Tinta de Toro (as the variety is known locally). This wine is deep and rich is colour with ruby hues typical for the variety. The nose is opulent and savoury with notes of leather, tobacco, prominent dusty oak and dried figs. The wine is highly structured, with trademark drying tannins and long vanillan finish. This wine is designed to be cellared, but is drinking beautifully now at 6 years old. Drink now to 2025.
