Chateau La Grave – Privilege Blanc 2007

Hemispheres Wine Guild
Chateau La Grave - Privilege Blanc 2007

The winery gets its name from the gravelly soils which dominate the Estate. These soils must impact the white grapes favourably; because this Estate is know for producing some of the best white wines in the region. This is a barrel fermented blend of Maccebeu and Grenache Blanc. It is deep yellow with aromas of dried apricots, buttered toast, vanilla and hazelnuts. The palate is very full bodied with nutty fruit intensity and a long toasty finish. 0-6 years. 91 points
