This impressive 20 Ha Left Bank vineyard is located at the northern end of Graves and is predominantly on gravel soils. It is made up of a blend of 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc. The bouquet is very aromatic with notes of violets, black cherries, pencil shavings and mineral complexity. This wine spends 14 months in barriques and shows excellent dusty oak integration. The tannins are medium grained and drying yet should resolve further with maturation. There is a balanced elegance to this wine, with finesse rather than power. Drink 2015 to 2025.
