The colour is mid crimson with obvious weight in the glass. The bouquet shows aromas of red cherries, black truffle, menthol, and freshly turned earth. The palate is surprisingly full bodied with excellent extract and mouthfeel. The wine shows finesse and is multilayered in the mouth. The myriad of flavours are delicate yet do not underwhelm. It finishes in balance and shows excellent persistence. This is wonderful wine and a delicate piece of winemaking. 93 points. Cellar for 5-8 years
