The wine appears to be mid straw with golden hints and lime green hues. The bouquet is high intensity and complex. It shows primary aromas of apricots, pears, lemon peel and flint-like minerality. The secondary flavours are that of anise, high quality French oak and roasted almonds. The mouthfeel is rich yet vibrant, with high natural acidity to balance the obvious fruit weight. While this wine has amazing mouthfeel now, I feel it still has time to blossom over the next five years. 93 points. Cellar 4-7 years.
