The grapes for this wine come from the Naramata Bench sub-region of the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. The grapes were hand harvested, lightly pressed and fermented in new French Oak Barriques. 10% Viognier grapes were also added to the blend. After fermentation the wine was transferred to stainless steel, stabilized and bottled in the Spring of 2015. This medium bodied wine shows ripe notes of peaches, figs and citrus with a round yet rich palate and subtle vanillan oak nuances. It would pair well with grilled seafood or white meats in cream based sauces. Drink now to 2019.
