Grown in calcareous soils on the North West coast of Sardinia, this endemic ancient variety (Torbato) was brought to the Iberian Peninsula by Phoenicians then by Catalans to Sardinia.
It shows fresh crisp stone fruit aromas with a dry palate and flavours of white peach, pears, lemon peel and slight wet stone minerality. Try with fresh grilled seafood. Drink now to 2021.
