2015 Poggio al Tufo, Rompicollo, Tommasi, Toscana IGT

This is a blend of 60% Sangiovese and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is deeply coloured and shows notes of black cherry, black currant, red pepper and rosemary. The palate is full bodied with flavours of black fruits, toast and dried herbs. It has moderate structure and finishes dry with a slight bitter almond note. Try with a good spaghetti, or tomato and basil mozzarella pizza. Drink now to 2025.
