This wine is made from the traditional Cava varieties of Parellada, Xarel-lo and Macabeo grown organically/biodynamically in the North Easterly region of Penedes. The result is a subtle and refined still wine with hints of apples, pears and lemon and savoury/toasty nuances. The wine was aged for 7 months in French oak barriques, which adds textural breadth and complexity to this European style. A versatile food wine. Drink now to 2020.
