Is this 100% Malbec….seriously? Wow, what a fantastic nose! So much fruit yet perfectly cloaked in suave oak and earthen complexity. Very full-bodied, with excellent structure for a straight varietal. The grapes come from an 85 year old vineyard located in what the locals call “Malbecs Dirt”, Luyan de Cuyo. Wonderful. Cellar 0-5 years. 94 points.
