Rioja is a warm region and very few white varieties excel like the native Viura grape. This is blend of 80% Viura and 20% Malvasia. It has been fermented cold in stainless steel and bottled early to retain freshness. The Malvasia grape gives the Viura a welcome aromatic lift, with notes of citrus and tropical fruit. The wine is medium bodied, dry and has enough acidity to allow it to pair with a variety of foods. Very appealing food oriented style. Drink now to 3 years. 90 points.
