This wine is a blend of indigenous Chianti varietals including predominantly Sangiovese with some Colorino and Pugnitello. It is has moderate deep ruby colour and a bouquet of dried Italian herbs, black olives, cocoa and red cherries. The palate is medium bodied with superb yet fine structure and a long crisp drying finish. Try with mushroom ravioli, grilled pork or truffled gnocchi.
