2015 Paul Jaboulet, Biographie, Côtes du Rhone, France

This wine is farmed organically and shows a particular “joie de vivre” which is hard to ignore.  The nose is ripe with notes black cherries, fruit candies, white pepper, creamy oak and a viscous somewhat spicey finish. The wine is plush yet vibrant, simply delicious.   Pair with good prosciutto and aged cheddar cheese.  Drink now to 2029.
